I wish to advise that Rose Cottage is closing its doors.

This has been an extremely hard choice to make, but it has been done and the Committee have been notified.

The official date for closure will be the 31st July 2010, which gives us a couple of weeks to wrap things up.

All girls who have paid $30 for YAAD this year will of course be reimbursed - please send me your bank details and I will do this ASAP.

I have of course considered all options before making this final announcement, but nothing has come to the fore.

This is, you will understand, an extremely painful process for me and for that reason, I will not go into the many reasons I have for closing the Cottage door.

I thank you with all my heart for being a part of my dream over the last six years - it has been hard but ultimately fulfilling.

I am extremely sad but also very sure that this is the right way to go at this time - there is no blame, no anger, just recognition that the Cottage is at the end of its road.

My personal circumstances have now changed dramatically leaving me no other option.

I am resigned to it now.

The Cottage has been just hanging on due to the hard work and devotion of a wonderful committee who were advised yesterday about the Cottage closure.

I would like to thank Wendy, Daya, Jen, Rachael, Shann and Michelle for all their time and understanding.  I would like to thank Todd as well, for all his work on our website.
