What is the Rose Cottage Community board?
The Community board is a vital part of Rose Cottage communications. It is a place where people can start or join in discussions about various topics relating to the Cottage, and most importantly hear about any news or changes that are happening.
Everyone is welcome to join this board whether you live at the Cottage or only come a few times a month or even if you've never been at all!
This board is a great place to be introduced to other like-minded people and learn more about what we do before you choose to come along.
Below is a set of instructions for joining the board, but if you need any further help please contact our Web manager and he will do his best to get you started.

The YAAD board is made up of several folders inside other folders
Your current location, as well as your "parent folders" are always displayed at the top left of the page
To move back to one of those folders, simply click the link

Creating sub-forums and sub-categories

In the forum that you would like to create a sub-forum/sub-category, click Options -> Structure -> Sub-category
Name your category and add a description (optional), and click Create subcategory

Write your reply in the space provided (you can quote the original by clicking Quote original)

Subscribing to receive email notifications (Recommended)
This board does not, by default, notify you of each new post. However, you can subscribe to receive emails about any section of the board you wish
To subscribe to all posts (recommended), navigate to the home Community board
Once logged in, click Options -> Subscribe via email
Choose whether you would like to Subscribe to every message posted in the forum (includes topics and replies) or to Subscribe to new topics only.
Choose whether you would like to receive Individual emails or Daily digest
When done, click Save subscription
You will receive the emails to the address you use to login

Frame loading twice
If your frame loads twice in the same window after logging in, simply click Community on the top navigation board to correct it. This problem is caused by Nabble's embedding script and will hopefully be corrected in the future.
